Time to officially welcome our **NEW FAMILY MEMBER**! 
Izzy’s – Int Aust Fi Cro Ch Black Majesty Hollywood – first outing with me at CACIB Wieselburg was very successful by going BEST OF BREED under breed specialist Hana Ahrens. This was his first show with me and his first win, I could not be any prouder. Izzy showed his heart for me, especially in the group ring. I can’t wait what the future holds for him!
Showing Evita at Crufts was a dream come true for me as this was a debut for both of us! I have visited CRUFTS several times before but I never showed there except for competing in int. Juniorhandling. This year I finally had a dog that was ready for it. After a long trip there, we had one day to relax and get ready.
Early in the morning we started to Crufts. Hounds were on on Thursday and I was very excited as my girl was entered in the class with the highest entry and probably in the class with the highest quality, namely open class bitches. As always Evita was a joy to show and probably was the only one bouncing around like crazy when it was not her turn. She made me very proud by being shortlisted, especially because she was the youngest one competing in this class, not even being 2 years of age. It was an unbelievable experience for sure & I could not be happier with how this day went down! <3 Thanks Evita, you are a true beauty and together we made a lot of memories already <3
Now that the lists have been published it is finally official: EVITA IS THE NUMBER ONE PETIT in Austria for 2016! This year has been fabulous for our girl with the sweetest temper and we could not be prouder.
To summarize the year a bit, I think we should start at her first show in Brno (the biggest show in CZ) where she won the breed over champions and Crufts BOB winning dogs with only 9 months of age. But she did not stop and moved on to Junior Best in Group. From this show on Evita did not stop to amaze us anymore. She won Best Of Breed nearly everywhere. She was placed in every group she participated in Austria, she was chosen as Junior Best of Group multiple times, one time Junior Best in Show 3 (+2000 dogs) and Junior Best in Show Specialty. Also she could win the group twice this year, still being younger than 18 months.

Our dear Evita was only entered one day in Tulln, namely Sunday, which was the Bundessieger show. We were all very much looking forward to this show as Sunday’s judge was Iva Cernohubova (CZ), a breed specialist! Evita entered the ring as the last dog this day and showed herself beautifully – she got lovely critiques and finished off with one more Best of Breed and a new title to her name “Bundessiegerin 2016”! Of course we waited for the groups and were quite surprised with how many breeds actually stayed. It was a huge line-up in group 6, probably the biggest line up I have ever competed in at a “normal” CACIB show. The groupjudge Sigrid Jarmer (A) chose Evita as her BEST OF GROUP WINNER! It is already the second time she won the group, both times at an international all-breed show, and is not yet 1,5 years old. We are beyond proud!!
Our sweet Miss Evita just never stops to amaze us 🙂 not yet 16 months of age, she rocked the show in Innsbruck (2x INT) again! She took the breed in a high entry for Petits from Junior class over Champions, is again Jugend-Alpensieger and was BEST OF GROUP 3 BOTH days! As if this would not be enough, she was chosen as the only dog from FCI6 on Saturday to compete in JrBIS finals under Cristian Stefanescu (RO) and on Sunday she was JUNIOR BEST IN SHOW 3 under Paul Stanton (S)!! We are very proud!
….Evita added one more title to her name. 🙂 We showed her at 4 Summer Night Shows in Split this year, after she just turned 15 months 2 weeks ago, and she could win the CAC everyday, hence is NEW CROATIAN CHAMPION! This show was very special for us as 5 beautiful Petits were shown – JWW bitch, vice WW bitch, WW male, a new import from Peru & Evita, herself vice JWW. A joy to show there 😀
Going to Oberwart to win Evita’s first CACIB – she has turned 15 months only the day before – our princess girl did us proud and topped all our expectations. She showed herself nicely and took the breed under Mrs. Patricia Burunkai, H. Thanks for the appreciation for our girl and also to the kind words from the ringsteward, who is a PBGV breeder and judge herself. Only staying for the group to show respect to the breed judge, Evita went in and took it all under Mrs. Phillis Poduschka-Aigner,A! With only 15 months she is already a BEST OF GROUP WINNER at an international all-breed show <3

We spent a fabulous weekend at the Terrier Specialty show in Wittau. Besides meeting good friends, I was allowed to handle some Border Terriers and they achieved really nice results:

I guess we could not be any prouder and happier about our Evita – Black Majesty Griotte. She is just a super dog to live with, has got a beautiful character and is a superb showman.
We decided to show Evita at the Specialty Show for Scenthounds in St. Florian under breed judge Mr. Zimmermann. He clearly loved Evita, gave her a super critique and chose her as his Junior Best Of Breed and Best of Breed over Champions entered! In the BIS competitions she showed herself amazingly and won JUNIOR BEST IN SHOW SPECIALTY under Mr. Karl P. Reisinger and was shortlisted in the last 3 in Best In Show as the only Junior dog. Moreover she finished her Austrian Junior Champion title and can now call herself “JrBISS BBIS JCh Black Majesty Griotte” – what a name for a only 14 months old dog!!
In Klagenfurt (2x CACIB) Evita was again entered and took the breed out of Juniors both days again under very strict judges, who awarded quite a lot of very goods and goods. Going on she was BOG3 & BOG5 and the only dog being shortlisted in Junior groups on Sunday again, making her an unofficial Junior Best Of Group again, as we don’t award this title in Austria.
Last minute, as always, we decided to enter Evita for the CACIB show in Wieselburg 2016. Our judge Mrs Phyllis Poduschka-Aigner showed again how strict she was by awarding only one Basset Hound excellent, the others were vg. Walking in with Evita the judge immediately told us that she liked our junior a lot, giving her a lovely critique and awarded the JrCAC. Then Evita was beating the adult dogs and went on to be BEST OF BREED. In the groups she showed her attitude again and is a brand new groupplacer! In Junior Best In Show she was the only dog being shortlisted out of FCI group 6 – making her an unofficial (as we don’t have JrGroups in Austria) JUNIOR BEST OF GROUP once again 😀 we are beyond proud!
